CalCurriculum’s District Adoption Tool for Publisher Fairs

CalCurriculum’s new District Adoption Tool for Publisher Fairs supports educators and teams with purposefully engaging with publishers based on the needs and priorities of your context. If you’re wondering “How can I prepare to successfully engage with publishers at an upcoming publisher fair, and what questions should I be asking to winnow my choices?” – this is the tool to support you. 

Through a mobile-friendly “web-based app” design, this tool will guide you and/or your team through the steps to prepare to gather intentional data from a publisher fair that will support your team in narrowing down your options. It will take you through the steps of:

1. Selecting topics that are most important to you, based on your needs and local priorities
2. Selecting questions that you want to investigate, based on your selected topics
3. Selecting publishers that you want to learn more about
4. Utilizing the platform to capture notes as you engage with publishers to collect data for you and your team

This tool was designed to align with the California Math Framework and California’s Math Review Criteria Map.
